As per reports, Simpson got down on one knee while proposing to Pollak. The latter got a huge surprise as he believed they were only at the Sydney Harbor to take photos and then a seaplane ride. It turned into a huge surprise for Pollak when Simpson asked him to be his husband.

After Pollak said yes, the two went aboard the aircraft for a scenic aerial tour. Following this, the pair visited Cottage Point Inn, a modern, fine dining waterside restaurant in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. They reportedly had a five-course meal to celebrate their engagement.

The pair even climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge at sunset.

Posting a series of pictures that were taken by PEOPLE, Robbie Simpson announced the engagement on Instagram. “He said YES! Thank you @people for covering the best day of our lives!” he captioned the post, where he added Pollak as a collaborator. Many fans and fellow celebrities congratulated the pair in the comment section of the post.

Speaking about the proposal to PEOPLE, Simpson revealed that he was struggling with when to propose. However, he knew instantly when they arrived in Australia. “It’s magical, beautiful, and exotic in all the right ways,” he said.

Meanwhile, Pollak said, “My life and relationship with Robbie is far from ordinary — hence spending a week with him on an Australian ‘work trip.’ We go on the most wonderful adventures together, and it was fitting that we commit to a life together before taking off in a seaplane for lunch at a secluded waterfront restaurant,” before “climbing a bridge to watch the sunset.”

No formal wedding plan has been announced yet.
