Hulu‘s highly-rated Australian heist drama has finally returned nearly three years after the show’s debut season premiere. Beginning today, all eight episodes of The Artful Dodger Season 2 are now available to stream on Hulu. The latest installment is once again led by Emmy nominee Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Love Actually, The Queen’s Gambit).

The Artful Dodger is described as a “tale of reinvention, betrayal, redemption, and love with a twist,” based on a character in Charles Dickens‘ classic novel Oliver Twist. Joining Brodie-Sangster are David Thewlis, Maia Mitchell, Susie Porter, Damien Garvey, Tim Minchin, Lucy-Rose Leonard, Nicholas Burton, Kim Gyngell, Luke Carroll, Vivienne Awosoga, Aljin Abella, Brigid Zeneni, and Albert Latailakepa. Season 2 also introduces new characters, portrayed by Luke Bracey, Jeremy Sims, and Zac Burgess.
The show is co-created and executive-produced by James McNamara. It is produced by Cameron Welsh, with Curio Pictures’ Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner also serving as executive producers. Ben Young, Ben C. Lucas, and Gracie Otto are part of the Season 2 directing lineup, while Dan Knight, Kate Mulvany, and Miranda Tapsell are the writers for the new seasons. Since its debut, the show has received a Certified Fresh rating of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 25 reviews.
