One of Netflix‘s biggest shows in its history is officially back for its highly anticipated fourth season, which premieres today on the streaming platform.

The highly anticipated fourth season of Bridgerton, the beloved historical romance television series, returns to Netflix beginning today. The series’ fourth season will be divided into two parts, Part 2 set to release a month from now, on February 26, 2026.
Season 4 will be based on the novel An Offer from a Gentleman, the third book in Julia Quinn’s bestselling Bridgerton series. Besides Ha, the next installment will also introduce new cast members Katie Leung (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) as Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao (A Big Bold Beautiful Journey) as Rosamund Li, and Isabella Wei (The Crow) as Posy Li.
Since its release, Bridgerton remains one of Netflix’s biggest shows. The show is in the top five of Netflix’s most popular television shows, with two of its seasons charting in the top 10 of most-watched television.
Alongside the new cast members, Bridgerton Season 4 will also feature returning cast members Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown, Lorraine Ashbourne as Mrs. Varley, Masali Baduza as Michaela Stirling, Hannah Dodd as Francesca Stirling, Victor Alli as Lord John Stirling, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Bridgerton, Daniel Francis as Lord Marcus Anderson, Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton, Martins Imhangbe as Will Mondrich, Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton, Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton, Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte, Will Tilston as Gregory Bridgerton, Polly Walker as Portia Featherington and more.
“Bohemian second son Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) refuses to settle down, despite pleas to the contrary from matriarch Lady Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell),” reads the official synopsis for the season. “Until — at Violet’s masquerade ball, Benedict is awestruck by a masked, mysterious Lady in Silver. With the reluctant help of his sister Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Benedict sets out in society to uncover the young lady’s identity. But in fact, his heart’s desire is not in society at all — she is a resourceful maid called Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), working for the formidable Lady of the house, Araminta Gun (Katie Leung).”
Bridgerton is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, showrunner Jess Brownell, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica, and Chris Van Dusen. Ahead of Season 4’s premiere, it has already been confirmed that the show has been renewed for two more seasons. Seasons 5 and 6 would most likely tell the love stories of Eloise Bridgerton and Francesca Bridgerton, since they are, respectively, the fifth and sixth oldest children of the Bridgerton siblings.
