Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 Production Start Window Revealed

After nearly three months since Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 was officially ordered at Disney+, executive producer and Camp Half-Blood Chronicles author Rick Riordan has finally shared an update about the upcoming next installment, which will be based on his 2006 novel The Sea of Monsters.

On his latest blog post, Riordan confirmed that they’re currently planning to start the production on Season 2 this coming fall. In addition, the best-selling author also announced that his next Percy Jackson & the Olympians book titled Wrath of The Triple Goddess will finally be published on September 24. The seventh installment will center around the Greek goddess of witchcraft Hecate.

“I will not be doing an in-person tour for this book [Wrath of The Triple Goddess] in the fall. We anticipate being back at work producing season two of Percy Jackson and the Olympians by then, if all goes according to plan.” Riordan wrote. “Season one did very well indeed, and we are all excited to continue the story. I can only provide the most general of updates, but we’re making excellent progress. Becky and I continue to serve as executive producers the same way we did on season one. I read every outline and every script, making notes as needed.”
