Invincible Season 3 to Feature Returning Villains From Season 1

Mark Grayson will once again face “big,” familiar enemies. Shortly after the second season of Invincible concluded, series creator Robert Kirkman revealed that two iconic antagonists from the first season would be returning for Season 3.

During the Invincible podcast’s latest episode, Kirkman shared that both Titan (Mahershala Ali) and Battle Beast (Michael Dorn) will return for the highly anticipated third season. After Kirman delivered the exciting news, the hit animated show’s official X account also confirmed the formidable foes’ return for Season 3.

Audiences last saw Titan and Battle Beast during the Season 1 finale, titled “Where Do I Really Come From.” However, although the two characters are confirmed to be returning for the third season, Kirkman didn’t reveal anything about the roles Titan and Battle Beast will play in the new season.

What can we expect from Invincible Season 3?

No release date has been set yet for Invincible Season 3, but it will most likely come out sometime between 2024 and 2025. Nonetheless, as is the case with the first two seasons, Kirkman promised that Season 3 will be an “absolutely huge” season for the Prime Video series.

“Season three is an absolutely huge season with so many crazy things that you won’t expect. And where we leave things at the end of season three . . . Oh my god, I cannot wait for people to see that stuff,” Kirkman previously said (via Games Radar).

Earlier this year, Kirkman — who co-created the series alongside Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley — said that wrapping up Season 2 “in a very interesting place” will set up Mark’s adventures for Season 3.

The voice cast members for Invincible also include Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson, Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson, J. K. Simmons as Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man, Gillian Jacobs as Atom Eve, Zazie Beetz as Amber, Sterling K. Brown as Angstrom Levy, Walton Goggins as Cecil, Melise as Dupli-Kate, Jason Mantzoukas as Rex, Khary Payton as Black Samson, Jay Pharoah as Bulletproof, and Kevin Michael Richardson as The Mauler Twins, among others.

Invincible Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream on Prime Video.
