Modern Family Stars Reunite 3 Years After ABC Show Ended

Claire, Mitchell, and Gloria are spending some quality time together! It is no secret that the Modern Family cast members remained friends after the hit ABC sitcom ended in 2020. While fans of the show are well aware of this, the stars never cease to delight them.

On three separate Instagram posts, some members of the Pritchett and Dunphy families are having a mini-get-together. Sofia Vergara, who played Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in the show, shared a photo on her Instagram with her “favorite people in the world.” The photo features Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson with real-life husband Justin Mikita.

On the other hand, Bowen — who played Claire Dunphy — bonded with her on-screen brother, Ferguson, who played Cameron Tucker’s husband Mitchell Pritchett, and shared a clip of them dancing to “Shake It Off” during Ferguson’s Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour dance party.

The sitcom, which ran for 11 seasons, has managed to become one of ABC’s top-rated comedies since its inception in 2009. Praised for its great humor and likable characters, the show also received positive critical reception for touching on different sensitive topics while maintaining its comedic element.

The show ultimately met its inevitable end in 2020, but the cast remained friends after working together for 11 years. In 2022, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland (Haley Dunphy) was joined by her co-stars during her wedding with Wells Adams. And it wasn’t the first time — and definitely not the last — the stars reunited after the show’s conclusion.

The Modern Family cast also includes Ed O’Neill as Jay Pritchett, Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy, Eric Stonestreet as Cameron Tucker, Rico Rodriguez as Manny Delgado, Nolan Gould as Luke Dunphy, Ariel Winter as Alex Dunphy, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons as Lily Tucker-Pritchett, and Jeremy Maguire as Joe Pritchett.
