Netflix has dropped a new batch of The Crown Season 6 photos from the highly-anticipated final installment to the acclaimed family drama.

The photos highlight the final moments before the heartbreaking tragedy of Princess Diana’s untimely death, which will be covered during the early episodes of the sixth and final season. The first half of Season 6 will be available for streaming on November 16, followed by the second half on December 14.

What to expect in The Crown Season 6?

The Crown Season 6 stars Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker Bowles, Khalid Abdalla as Dodi Fayed, Bertie Carvel as Tony Blair, Luther Ford as Prince Harry, and more. It hails from creator/writer Peter Morgan, director Stephen Daldry, and producer Andy Harries.

“A relationship blossoms between Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed before a fateful car journey has devastating consequences,” reads the synopsis. “Prince William tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother’s death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion. As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles and Camilla and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate.”

Since its debut, it has won a number of awards, including three Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress for Claire Foy, Olivia Colman, and Emma Corrin. The fourth season also took home multiple major awards, including Best Drama, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress.
