A new series set in the universe of the popular show Suits is being made by NBCUniversal and series creator Aaron Korsh.
Deadline has revealed that the new show, which currently has no title, will not be a reboot, sequel, or spin-off, and is being made by series creator Aaron Korsh. Rather, the outlet’s sources say the show would be akin to how CSI and NCIS have several different shows, meaning it would be set in the Suits universe but in a different setting with different characters. Finally, it’s noted that Los Angeles is being considered as the setting of the upcoming series.
Deals involving the project are still being negotiated, but Deadline states that the show is expected to be “fast-tracked with a serious commitment.” NBC has apparently not decided on which network or platform the series will be on, though Suits itself and the spin-off series Pearson both aired on USA Network.
When did Suits come to an end?
Suits came to an end with the conclusion of Suits Season 9, which aired on September 25, 2019. The series starred Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Meghan Markle, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman, Gina Torres, Abigail Spencer, Amanda Schull, and more. The show recently saw a massive resurgence in popularity on Netflix.
