The recently-released Mike Judge’s Beavis & Butt-Head Season 1 is finally coming to DVD. The Paramount+ 2022 revival of the series following the misadventures of the iconic dumb duo will hit the stores on March 14, a few days after the original series’ 30th-anniversary release. In addition to the 12 episodes from the latest series, the three-disc collection includes Paramount+’s original movie, Beavis & Butt-Head Do the Universe.
Take a look at the Mike Judge’s Beavis & Butt-Head Season 1 DVD cover art.
Mike Judge’s Beavis & Butt-Head stars the voices of creator Mike Judge (King of the Hill), Piotr Michael (Lightyear), as well as Chris Diamantopoulos (The Three Stooges), Kosha Patel (The Newsroom), Jayden Libran (The Happytime Murders), Mary Birdsong (Succession), Brian Huskey (Veep), Tru Valentino (The Rookie), Ally Maki (Wrecked) and Toks Olagundoye (Castle).
“In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-head are sentenced to Space Camp by a “creative” judge in 1998, leading to a trip on the Space Shuttle, with predictably disastrous results,” reads the official synopsis for the film. “After going through a black hole, they reemerge in our time, where they look for love, misuse iPhones, and are hunted by the Deep State. Spoiler: They don’t score.”
The original Beavis and Butt-Head ran on-air for seven seasons from 1993 to 1997 on MTV. A theatrical film, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, debuted in 1996.
