Stranger Things Season 5’s First Episode Title Revealed

In celebration of Stranger Things Day, Netflix has dropped a brand new detail about the highly-anticipated fifth and final season of the popular sci-fi horror series.

The streamer revealed a picture of one of the finished scripts for the next season, confirming that the first episode of Stranger Things Season 5 will be titled “Chapter One: The Crawl.” The episode is written by series creators The Duffer Brothers.

The fifth season currently has no release date attached to it, but given that it’s still in the early stages of pre-production, fans might have to wait a while for the fan-favorite series to make its final return.

 

Stranger Things is set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. When a young boy vanishes, a small town uncovers a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces, and one strange little girl.

The series currently stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, and Brett Gelman.

Season 4 also introduced a number of new actors, including Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Quinn, Eduardo Franco, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Nikola Djuricko, Tom Wlaschiha, Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen, Grace Van Dien, Robert Englund, and Amybeth McNulty.

Stranger Things is created and executive produced by Matt and Ross Duffer, who also serve as showrunners. Executive producers are Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Iain Patterson. All episodes of Season 4 are now available for streaming exclusively on Netflix.
