What Are the Critics Saying about Suspicion?

Critics have had a lukewarm response to the international crime thriller. Suspicion has an undistinguished approval rating of 48% on Rotten Tomatoes and a dismal average audience score of 29%.

Richard Roeper from the Chicago Sun Times says, “By the time Suspicion reaches its heavy-handed conclusion, we hardly care who done it and why they did it.”

The Guardian’s Lucy Mangan wondered, “How did Thurman get so much press for such a tiny cameo?”

Benji Wilson from Daily Telegraph (UK) had a more forgiving review, writing, “If it isn’t a show you need to put straight on your must-see list, it does stand as an exemplar of everything that’s good – and bad – about big-league streaming TV in 2021.”
