The freshman season of The Lord of the Rings prequel series will conclude its first run on Prime Video following its upcoming eighth installment. Here is when to watch the Season 1 finale.

Audiences can watch The Rings of Power Season 1 finale starting at 12 a.m. ET on Friday, October 14. On the West Coast, the episode will debut around 9 p.m. PT on Thursday, October 13. Wayne Che Yip directed the upcoming episode. Following its debut, the series broke all sorts of records on Prime Video in terms of views. J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay developed and executive produced the series, in addition to serving as showrunners.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power cast sees Maxim Baldry as Isildur, Nazanin Boniadi as human village healer Bronwyn, Ismael Cruz Córdova as the Silvan elf Arondir, Charles Edwards as elven smith Celebrimbor, Sophia Nomvete as dwarven princess Disa, Sir Lenny Henry as Sadoc Burrows, Dylan Smith as Largo Brandyfoot, Sara Zwangobani as Marigold Brandyfoot, Megan Richards as Poppy Proudfellow, Owain Arthur as Prince Durin IV, Benjamin Walker as High King Gil-galad, Tyroe Muhafidin as Theo, Markella Kavenagh as Nori Brandyfoot, and Daniel Weyman as The Stranger.

Additional cast includes Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Trystan Gravelle, Ema Horvath, Joseph Mawle, Lloyd Owen, as well as Leon Wadham, and Benjamin Walker.

Is There a The Rings of Power Season 2?

Yes, Prime Video will release a sophomore season of the series in the future. The streaming service believes very much in the potential of The Rings of Power. Shooting for Season 2 is currently ongoing. The story is expected to go even beyond Season 2 on Prime Video.
