The concert, which is set to take place on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the iconic Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater, will be available to stream on Paramount+ the following day, on Sunday, August 14. The event itself features music from Trey Parker and Matt Stone, as well as Primus and Ween, who recorded the theme song for the animated series.

Tickets for the concert were made available via lottery, and have likely sold out by now. “We’re so excited to go home and play at Red Rocks, a place that’s been known for hosting the most legendary Artists and Musicians. Until now,” said co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker in a previous statement regarding the upcoming concert.

South Park was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series is executive produced by Parker, Stone, Anne Garefino, and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell, and Vernon Chatman are producers.

It was announced in August 2021 that Stone and Parker signed a new deal with ViacomCBS for $900 million, running through 2027, which included a multi-season renewal of the animated comedy series at Comedy Central, as well as 14 original South Park hour-long movies for Paramount+.
