The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Announced, Episode Order Revealed

Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer has been renewed for a second season, according to a recent report from Variety.

The hit drama series based on the book series by Michael Connelly premiered earlier this year and was popular enough on the streaming platform to warrant a quick renewal for a second season. Much like the first season, Season 2 of the series will also be 10 episodes long. This time it will be based on Connelly’s book The Fifth Witness.

Dailyn Rodriguez is set to join the show in its second season as co-showrunner and executive producer, where she’ll join Season 1’s showrunner Ted Humphrey. Rodriguez has previously worked as co-showrunner on the USA Network series Queen of the South, and also has writing credits on other hit series like Fantasy Island, Lie to Me, and The Glades. The first season of The Lincoln Lawyer was based on the series’ second book, The Brass Verdict. The series stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Christopher Gorham, Krista Warner, Michael Graziadei, and Jamie McShane.

“When his former law partner is killed, Mickey Haller is left to take over the firm, including a high-profile murder trial,” says the synopsis. “With the biggest case he’s ever had to tackle out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, Mickey discovers there may be more at stake than he thought.”

The Lincoln Lawyer series is created, written and executive produced by David E. Kelly (Big Little LiesMr. Mercedes), with Ted Humphrey serving as the showrunner. Executive producers are Ted Humphrey, Michael Connelly, and Ross Fineman.
