The outlet notes that Black Mirror Season 6 would be consisting of more than three episodes, described as “more cinematic in scope.” Each episode is being developed as a stand-alone film. The new installment will be produced by Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones through their Broke & Bones banner.

Created by Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror is an anthology series that taps into “our collective unease with the modern world, with each stand-alone episode a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia,” reads the synopsis. Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm – a plasma screen; a monitor; a Smartphone – a Black Mirror reflection.”
