HBO has unveiled the first official photos for the upcoming series adaptation of The Time Traveler’s Wife, based on the beloved 2003 novel by Audrey Niffenegger. It is expected to debut this spring on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
The Time Traveler’s Wife photos, which you can check out below, offer us our first look at the main cast including Theo James and Leslie Grace’s respective portrayals of Henry and Clare, who were first portrayed in the 2009 film by Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams.

HBO’s The Time Traveler’s Wife hails from Emmy-winning director David Nutter (Game of Thrones, Band of Brothers), and writer Steven Moffat (Doctor Who, Sherlock). It stars Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones) as Clare Abshire, Theo James (Divergent) as Henry DeTamble, Desmin Borges (You’re the Worst) as Gomez, and Natasha Lopez (Runner Runner) as Charisse.
Described as an intricate and magical love story, the series will tell the story of Clare and Henry, and a marriage with a problem… time travel.

The Time Traveler’s Wife is an HBO and Warner Bros. Television production. It is executive produced by Moffat, Sue Vertue, and Brian Minchin through Hartswood Films along with Joseph E. Iberti and David Nutter.
