Netflix’s That ’90s Show Sets New Cast Members

The upcoming Netflix series That ’90s Show has assembled the main cast for the follow-up to the hit series That ’70s Show.

According to a report from Deadline, the new group of six teenagers set to star in the series has been cast. Callie Haverda is set to play Leia Forman, the daughter of Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna (Laura Prepon) Forman, with Ashley Aufderheide (Emergence), Mace Coronel (Colin in Black & White), Maxwell Acee Donovan (Gabby Duran & The Unsittables), Reyn Doi (Side Hustle), and Sam Morelos also set to star in the series as teen characters.

That ’70s Show stars Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will also be reprising their roles as Red Forman and Kitty Forman, respectively. Deadline also notes that other stars from the original series, including Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Mila Kunis, and Ashton Kutcher, are all in negotiations to appear in the 10-episode spin-off.

“Hello, Wisconsin! It’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red. Sex, drugs and rock ’n roll never dies, it just changes clothes,” reads the official synopsis.

That ’90s Show comes from the original series creators Bonnie and Terry Turner. Producers for the project are reportedly hoping that other familiar characters from That ’70s Show will make guest appearances on the new series.

Ten episodes of the series have been ordered for the multi-cam spin-off. Gregg Mettler will serve as showrunner. Bonnie and Terry Turner, Lindsey Turner, Marcy Carsey, and Tom Werner will executive produce.

That ’70s Show debuted in 1998 and ran for eight seasons until 2006. In addition to Smith and Rupp, the series also starred Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon, and Wilmer Valderrama. Previous cast member Danny Masterson is currently set to stand trial for three rape charges in Los Angeles.
