Cara Delevingne Joins Only Murders in the Building Season 2

Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad, Carnival Row) has joined the second season of Hulu’s crime dramedy series Only Murders in the Building, according to Deadline. Delevingne will play Alice, described as a “sophisticated art world insider who becomes enmeshed in the mystery.”

The outlet notes that filming will not interfere with Delevingne’s shooting schedule for Carnival Row as Season 2 of the Amazon Prime Video series wrapped filming earlier this year.

Additionally, Steve Martin announced today as the first day of shooting the second season of Only Murders in the Building:

Only Murders in the Building hails from co-writers and co-creators Steve Martin and John Hoffman (Grace & Frankie). The series stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. The first season also featured Nathan Lane, Aaron Dominguez, and Amy Ryan.

“The series centers around three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one,” reads the Season 1 synopsis. “When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth. As they record a podcast of their own to document the case, the three unravel the complex secrets of the building which stretch back years. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to realize a killer might be living amongst them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it’s too late.”

Only Murders in the Building is executive producers are Martin, Hoffman, Short, Gomez, Jamie Babbitt, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal.
