Manifest Season 4: Main Cast Finalizes Negotiations for Netflix Return

It has been nearly two weeks since Netflix officially saved Jeff Rake’s popular sci-fi drama Manifest from cancellation by granting the series a supersized fourth and final season order.

Now, Deadline brings word that the streamer and Warner Bros. Television have finally finalized the negotiations for the return of all of the series’ key cast members including Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh, whose contracts expired in June when NBC had first decided to cancel the show.

Joining them as returning series regulars are J.R. Ramirez, Parveen Kaur, Luna Blaise, and Holly Taylor who are reprising their respective roles as Jared, Saanvi, Olive, and Angelina. However, not all original cast members are going to return for Manifest Season 4 as 14-year-old actor Jack Messina, who portrayed the role of Cal Stone since the first season, has officially exited the series.

With his departure comes the addition of Ty Doran (The Blacklist), who first appeared as the older version of Cal during the third season finale. He has officially joined the final season as a series regular. The last remaining series regular who still hasn’t signed on for his return is Matt Long, who portrays the role of Zeke.

Manifest hails from writer and executive producer Jeff Rake, who is also serving as the showrunner. Season 3 starred Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, and Matt Long.

The series centers around a commercial airplane that mysteriously disappears, only to reappear five years later. While no time has passed for those on board, the world has gone on without them, and new mysteries unfold for the passengers as they seek to find answers as to how and why their plane disappeared years ago.
