Locke & Key Season 2 Gets First-Look Photos and Release Date

Netflix has officially set the release date for the upcoming second season of their popular series Locke & Key, based on Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s comic book series of the same name. The supernatural coming-of-age series is slated to make its return later this fall in October. In addition, the first official Locke & Key Season 2 photos have been revealed which you can check out below, giving us our first look at the return of the Locke siblings, who, in the Season 1 finale, are oblivious to the fact that Dodge is still very much alive.

In Locke & Key, after their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them.

The coming-of-age supernatural series stars Connor Jessup (American Crime) as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones (CODA) as Kinsey Locke, Jackson Robert Scott (It) as Bode Locke, Darby Stanchfield (Scandal) as Nina Locke, and Aaron Ashmore (X-Men films) as Duncan Locke. It also stars Griffin Gluck as Gabe, Laysla De Oliveira as Dodge, Petrice Jones as Scot, and Hallea Jones as Eden.

Locke & Key is created and executive produced by Carlton Cuse (LostBates Motel) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), who are also serving as showrunners. Executive producers Lindsey Springer, David Alpert, Rick Jacobs, Ted Adams and David Ozer along with Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti, who are both currently in production for Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming The Flash movie.
