Legendary broadcaster and sports interviewer Bob Costas is returning to HBO for a new interview show.

Called Back On The Record with Bob Costas, the show will see Costas interview some of the biggest names in sports and pop culture. There will be four episodes a year with each focusing on a topical issue in the world of sports. It will air on HBO and also be available on HBO Max. The name of the show is a reference to his original show on the network On The Record with Bob Costas, which ran from 2001 to 2004. Costas then hosted Costas Now until 2009.

“HBO is synonymous with the highest quality of television programming,” said Costas. “And their sports programming has always been both innovative and thoughtful. For those reasons and more, I am very pleased to again be part of HBO.”
