The Flight Attendant Renewed For a Second Season at HBO Max

After successfully wrapping up its 8-episode first season yesterday, HBO Max has officially renewed creator Steve Yockey’s series adaptation of The Flight Attendant for a second season. It was originally set up as a limited series but due to its recent popularity and positive reviews, the streamer decided to extend the Kaley Cuoco-led series.

The Flight Attendant is a story of how an entire life can change in one night. A flight attendant (Cuoco) wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man – and no idea what happened. The dark comedic thriller is based on the novel of the same name by New York Times best-selling author Chris Bohjalian.

The series stars Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory, Harley Quinn), Michelle Gomez (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Rosie Perez (Birds of Prey), Colin Woodell (The Purge), T.R. Knight (Grey’s Anatomy), Zosia Mamet (Girls), Merle Dandridge (The Night Shift), Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones), Nolan Gerard Funk (Glee) and Griffin Matthews.
