The Batman co-writer/director Matt Reeves is looking to extend his working partnership with Warner Bros. past the highly-anticipated DC Extended Universe installment as he has inked an overall deal with WB Television Group, according to Variety.

With his 6th & Idaho production banner in tow, the 54-year-old writer/director has signed a deal with the small-screen branch of the major film studio that will encompass all platforms including broadcast, cable and WarnerMedia’s fresh streaming service HBO Max, with all projects being produced in association with WB TV, Warner Horizon Scripted Television, WB Animation or Blue Ribbon Content. Alongside the deal, Daniel Pipski is joining 6th & Idaho as executive vice president and head of television.

Matt has been making some of my favorite movies and TV shows since I was addicted to Felicity, and it’s a thrill to get to be part of his great team alongside Rafi and Adam, building up his TV company with our partners at WBTV,” Pipski said in a statement.

Reeves’ banner is currently under a first-look film deal with Netflix, with word coming out two years ago that he and Shonda Rhimes (How to Get Away with Murder) were working together to develop a sci-fi universe that would encompass both film and TV projects, as well as the announcement last year that he would direct a film adaptation of Last Sons of America starring Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones).

Prior to the new deal, Reeves had yet to find any kind of studio home across his near 25 years of filmmaking, beginning with Miramax for his directorial debut The Pallbearer and moving to Paramount Pictures for Cloverfield and Let Me In, followed by Fox for the latter two installments in the Planet of the Apes reboot trilogy. On the small screen, Reeves had primarily worked with Buena Vista Television, namely on the hit college drama Felicity, which he co-created with J.J. Abrams and served as showrunner.
