New Lord of the Rings, Avatar: The Last Airbender Figures From Diamond Select!

Iconic collectible manufacturer Diamond Select Toys has unveiled two new action figure releases from the acclaimed Peter Jackson adaptation of the J.R.R. Tolkien novels The Lord of the Rings and the widely-celebrated Nickelodeon animated fantasy series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, which can all be viewed in the gallery below!

Based on the hit animated series, the second series of the The Last Airbender collection includes two highly-requested figures, Firebender Azula and airbender Aang in his season 1 outfit. Each figure includes powerful bending effects pieces, with Aang also featuring his iconic glider, as well as 16 points of articulation sculpted in a 7-inch scale and are packaged in a full-color window box with hangtag. Both figures, designed by Eamon O’Donoghue and sculpted by Richard Force, can be pre-ordered separately for $25 or together for $50.

In the epic new series of Lord of the Rings action figures, Diamond Select begins with the original odd couple, dwarf Gimli and elf Legolas, portrayed in the films by John Rhys-Davies in the original trilogy and Orlando Bloom in both the original and prequel trilogies, respectively. The 7-inch scale figures also feature 16 points of articulation, detailed sculpting from Gentle Giant Studios and a full range of accessories. Both figures also come packaged in a full-color window box with hangtag and a piece of Sauron, with the full line eventually building to the 13-inch villain. The figures can be pre-ordered for $25 individually or or $50 together.
