Kevin Feige is Chinnos in The Simpsons’ Avengers Spoof

For well over a decade, Kevin Feige has been Marvel Studios’ man behind the curtain. He constructed the MCU from behind the scenes while leaving the performance work to the professionals. But this weekend, Feige will finally get to try his hand at acting. Variety has revealed the first look at the Marvel Studios chief’s voiceover role on the next episode of The Simpsons.

The episode is called “Bart the Bad Guy,” and it will parody the MCU and its devoted fanbase. After Bart mistakenly catches an early screening of the new film in the mega-popular Vindicator franchise, he uses his newfound spoiler-heavy knowledge to blackmail a pair of Hollywood executives. These industry bigwigs will be voiced by Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo. Their characters desperately try to prevent Bart (AKA “Spoiler Boy”) from leaking plot details before the film is released.

However, it sounds like Feige is going to steal the entire episode. He will provide the voice of the movie’s villain, Chinnos, an obvious send-up of Josh Brolin’s Thanos. But instead of an Infinity Gauntlet, Chinnos will bring destruction using the “Doomsday app” on his phone. The latest clip shows the team of superheroes attempting to halt Chinnos’ machinations in a scene that’s also reminiscent of the battle on Titan in Avengers: Infinity War. Unfortunately, they can’t get past his force field.

Feige and the Russos won’t be the only Marvel vets appearing in the episode. Cobie Smulders, will also lend her voice to a heroine named Hydrangea. Additionally, Smulders’ husband and occasional Marvel writer, Taran Killam, will provide the voice of Airshot, another hero.

“Bart the Bad Guy” airs on Sunday, March 1 on Fox. You can check out the newest teaser below.
