Steph Curry and Will Arnett Producing FOX’s New Sitcom The Second Half

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBA superstar and two-time MVP winner Stephen Curry has officially teamed up with Emmy nominee Will Arnett (30 Rock) to executive produce FOX‘s forthcoming comedy series titled The Second Half. The network has given the project a script order with Sean Clements set to pen the sitcom.

The Second Half will follow the story of a retired NBA player who buys a car wash after moving back home to Charlotte. While trying to manage his new business, he struggles to reconnect with a lot of family members including his father and daughter as well as people from his past that also includes his ex-girlfriend and childhood best friend. He then starts to realize that when it comes to the game of life, he’s going to need a lot more practice.

The series will be executive produced by Curry, Arnett, and Clements along with Unanimous Media’s Jeron Smith, Erick Peyton, and Jennelle Lindsay, and Electric Avenue’s Marc Forman. Tim Mcauliffe and Peter Principato will also serve as executive producers through their Artist First banner.

The project is a co-production by Fox Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television.
