Brandon Routh Wraps Final Scenes For DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

Following the news of Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford’s departure from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Brandon Routh took to Instagram to share a new behind-the-scenes video from the set of the upcoming fifth season, revealing that he has officially finished filming his final scenes for the Arrowverse series. You can check out the video and his full post below in which he also bids farewell to the show’s fans, thanking them for supporting his character throughout five seasons.

Routh’s Ray Palmer/ the Atom first appeared in the third season of Arrow and has reprise the character in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as one of its first series regulars. Routh will be leaving the series after the fifth season together with his wife Courtney Ford, who plays the role of Nora Darhk.

Routh will also be a part of the highly-anticipated Arrowverse crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths, taking on two roles as The Atom and another version of Superman.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow also stars Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Steel, Jes Macallan as Ava Sharpe, Courtney Ford as Nora Darhk, Matt Ryan as John Constantine, Ramona Young as Mona Yu, Tala Ashe as Zari Tomaz, and Olivia Swann as Astra Logue.

Phil Klemmer and Keto Shimizu will be the fifth season’s showrunners.

Based on the characters from DC, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Phil Klemmer and Sarah Schechter.
