Josh McDermitt Cast in Pivotal Role for The Walking Dead Season 4

On the eve of “The Walking Dead’s” Season 4 premiere, AMC has revealed that Retired at 35 actor Josh McDermitt has been cast in the role of Eugene with Southland‘s Michael Cudlitz joining him as Army Sgt. Abraham Ford. In the comics, Eugene is a former science teacher who travels with Sgt. Ford and Rosita (the recently-cast Christian Serratos), and claims to know the source of the zombie outbreak. Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, “The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, Melissa McBride, Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green, Emily Kinney, Larry Gilliard Jr., David Morrissey and Danai Gurira. “The Walking Dead” returns Sunday, October 13 at 9/8c on AMC.
