Netflix’s The Ranch Returns in September for First Half of Final Season

Netflix has revealed the premiere date for the first half of its fourth and final season of sitcom series The Ranch. Starring Ashton Kutcher, the first batch of episodes will be available for streaming on September 13.

The fourth and final season will consist of 20 episodes, with 10 episodes streaming in September and the final 10 episodes set to launch in 2020. The series’ original cast of Ashton Kutcher (Two and a Half Men), Sam Elliott (Ghost Rider) and Elisha Cuthbert (Happy Endings) will all be reprising their roles. Season 4 will also feature the return of Debra Winger (Rachel Getting Married) and Dax Shephard (CHiPS).

Set in the present day on a Colorado ranch, The Ranch stars Kutcher as Colt, a failed semi-pro football player who returns home to run the family ranching business with his father Beau (Elliott), whom he hasn’t seen in 15 years. Winger stars as Colt’s and Rooster’s mother, Maggie, who runs the local town bar. The series also features That ’70s Show alum Wilmer Valderrama as Umberto.

The Ranch is written and executive produced by Jim Patterson and Don Reo (Two and a Half Men, Mike and Molly), and is the streaming service’s first original comedy production. A premiere date has yet to be set.
