Robert Aguirre-Sacasa Confirms Sabrina’s Journey to Hell for Season 3

The second season of Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina saw Sabrina revealing her plan to rescue her boyfriend Nick in hell, a path not yet taken in the series. Speaking at TCA (via The Wrap), creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has confirmed that the upcoming third season will indeed be bringing Sabrina Spellman and her mortal friends to the scary and dangerous realm of hell.

“I think it’s safe to say that we are going to Hell, yes. We’re going to Hell. It’s very fun. It’s very fun. It’s dangerous, but it’s really fun.” Aguirre-Sacasa said.

In addition, he also revealed that there is still no planned release date for season three and it might not premiere in time for Halloween.

“I don’t actually know [when Season 3 will premiere]. I don’t think we’d be ready for Halloween. I have no idea, not a clue. We are writing Episode 8, we are starting to shoot Episode 6, so we’re nearing the halfway mark. And that’s been going great. I’m really proud of those episodes. They’re really, really fun.”
