Titans Season 2 Set Photo Reveals First Look at Superboy

As production continues for the return of the DC Universe’s Titans, a new behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the live-action series’ upcoming second season has been released online (via Comic Book), revealing our first look at Joshua Orpin as Conner Kent/Superboy.

In the series, Superboy is being described as the angsty Teenager of Steel searching for purpose and the truth about his past. While looking for answers, he crashes into the world of the Titans and finds an unlikely home and surrogate family as well as revelations that carry more complications than he ever bargained for.

Season 2 will also feature Esai Morales as Deathstroke, Chella Man as Deathstroke’s son, Jericho WilsonChelsea T. Zhang as Deathstroke’s daughter, Rose Wilson (aka The Ravager), Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne, Natlie Gumede as Mercy Graves and Drew Van Acker as Aqualad.

Titans follows a group of young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) as Dick Grayson/Robin, Teagan Croft (Home and Away) as Raven, Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Koriand’r/Starfire, Alan Ritchson (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) & Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) as Hawk and Dove, Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder, and Lindsey Gort as Police Detective Amy Rohrbach.

From Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. TelevisionTitans is one of the all-new exclusive original live-action series coming soon to DC UNIVERSE. It comes from executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.

In the action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including StarfireRaven and many others. Fans can expect the series to be a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.
