CBS All Access’ Tell Me A Story Re-Enlists Paul Wesley For Season Two

The Hollywood Reporter has brought word that the upcoming second season of CBS All Access’ hit psychological fantasy thriller series Tell Me a Story has found its lead star in returning actor Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries).

Though he starred in the first season as druggie and thief Eddie Longo, one of the Three Little Pigs, Wesley will portray new character Tucker, a struggling novelist who lives in a secluded cabin working day and night without sleep trying to prove to his beautiful fiancée he’s good enough while a dark secret threatens to upend his world.

Tell Me A Story takes the world’s most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. Set in modern-day New York City, the first season of this serialized drama interwove “The Three Little Pigs,” “Little Red Riding Hood” and “Hansel and Gretel” into an epic and subversive tale of love, loss, greed, revenge, and murder. The second season will move on to focus on a story interweaving “Beauty and the Beast,” “Sleeping Beauty” and “Cinderella.”

From Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital EntertainmentTell Me A Story is written and executive produced by Kevin Williamson alongside Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor and Liz Friedlander, who directed and executive produced the first two episodes.

CBS All Access’ growing slate of original series currently includes Star Trek: DiscoveryThe Good FightNo Activity, and Strange Angel, The Twilight Zone. CBS All Access’ original series library will continue to expand with Star Trek: Picard, Why Women Kill, Star Trek: Lower Decks and The Stand, with additional programming to be announced.

The first seven episodes of Season 1 are available to stream on CBS All Access with new episodes available on demand every week on Thursdays. Tell Me A Story’s Season 1 finale will stream on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
