Why Women Kill Premiere Date Set for August on CBS All Access

CBS All Access has revealed the premiere date for the upcoming 10-episode season of Marc Cherry’s dark comedy drama series Why Women Kill. Starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Lucy Liu and Kirby Howell-Baptiste, the series is scheduled to make its debut on Thursday, August 15.

Why Women Kill will follow the story of three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the ‘60s, a socialite in the ‘80s and a lawyer in 2018, each dealing with infidelity in their marriages. The series will examine how the roles of women have changed, but how their reaction to betrayal has not.

The series will be starring Emmy Award-nominated actress Lucy Liu (Elementary) as Simone, Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon a Time) as Beth Ann and Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Killing Eve) as Taylor along with Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas) as Jade, Reid Scott (Veep) as Eli, Sam Jaeger (Parenthood) as Rob and Jack Davenport as Karl. Sadie Calvano, Leo Howard, Alice Coppola and Katie Finneran were also cast for the series.

The series is created by Emmy nominee Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives), who will also serve as executive producer alongside Imagine’s Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo. Acme Productions’ Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis will also executive produce along with Marc Webb who will also direct. Why Women Kill is produced by Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios.
