1:35

Spencer Perry-SHH: About time!

1:57

Blake Wright: Moving straight into Q&A…

1:58

Blake Wright: It’s a Make-A-Wish foundation kid. Asking about heroes and villains from the movies showing up in the show.

1:59

Blake Wright: Joss says we may see some people… and some newer people. He ends with a ‘probably’, but he won’t say when.

1:59

Blake Wright: Next question… Will Deadpool show up?

1:59

Blake Wright: Jed says that’s Level 7… but probably not.

1:59

EDouglasCS: Deadpool belongs to Fox, ya dummy! 🙂

2:00

Comment From Jacob B.

What is the story to Coulson’s miraculous recovery?

2:00

Blake Wright: They are going to show the pilot!!!

2:00

EDouglasCS: I’m guessing they won’t reveal that immediately… or maybe the show is a prequel.

2:00

EDouglasCS: The whole pilot? Wowzers? Guess we won’t hear from you for a bit Blake? 🙂

2:00

Blake Wright: People just went nuts!

2:01

ComingSoon.net: Have fun Blake! Stay tuned readers…

2:01

Blake Wright: Here is comes!

2:01

Blake Wright: Making me shut down. Bye!

2:01

Comment From Fanamir

Will any plot elements from the one-shots, such as Jasper Sitwell, the duo from Item 47, or the Zodiac key set to appear in Agent Carter?

2:02

EDouglasCS: I have to imagine they will try to include some of that stuff… but I get the impression Agent Carter might be in the past if Dominic Cooper is in that One Shot

2:02

EDouglasCS: Like maybe the early days of SHIELD

2:02

Comment From Hythlodeus

a running commentary for the pilot? pretty please?

2:03

EDouglasCS: They have to shut down electronics whenever they show footage including laptops so Blake may be offline for the next 45 minutes. Hopefully he’ll have some things to say.

2:07

EDouglasCS: If it’s a 90 minute pilot then it’s probably 70 minutes of footage although the panel only goes until 3 Pacific so maybe they won’t show the whole pilot.

2:09

Comment From Aerialgreen

Will you please consider a non-spoiler review SHH? really, I want SO much to know what happens on the pilot but I’d hate myself if I don’t watch it properly come Sept 24

2:09

EDouglasCS: I’ve asked Blake to post a couple thoughts here but post something longer on SHH… not sure what kind of spoilers they’ll show

2:14

Spencer Perry-SHH: So anybody know any good jokes?

2:15

EDouglasCS: Nope

2:15

Spencer Perry-SHH: I’ve got one!

2:15

Spencer Perry-SHH: Where does Napoleon keep his armies?

2:15

Spencer Perry-SHH: In his sleevies!

2:16

Comment From AgentPhil

“Why won’t Marvel say how Coulson survived?” “They want to keep it Loki.”

2:16

Spencer Perry-SHH: That’s the spirit!

2:17

Comment From Sam H

when does the panel start?

2:17

Spencer Perry-SHH: It’s already begun but they’re screening the pilot for those in attendance, and they’re not allowed to blog during the screening.

2:18

Comment From Jamie

I don’t want to link off the site, but there is a live blog of the pilot going on right now over at Marvel’s site.

2:19

EDouglasCS: Jamie we’re not linking to Marvel’s site. We’ll have our own write-up one it’s done which will be more than just bits of quotes.

2:19

Spencer Perry-SHH: and context!

2:38

Comment From Roku

Does agents of shield connect to avengers 2 or is it its own thing?

2:38

Spencer Perry-SHH: Its set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but as far as direct connections we’ll just have to wait and see.

2:38

EDouglasCS: I don’t think it connects to Avengers but you’ll probably see people with powers in it.

2:39

EDouglasCS: Not sure about Samuel L Jackson either… he’s pretty firmly in the Cinematic universe

2:39

Spencer Perry-SHH: Maybe Level 7 is above Fury’s paygrade

2:40

EDouglasCS: What is this Level 7 thing?

2:40

Comment From TheDarkNut

is it a 1/2 hour show or an hour long show?

2:40

EDouglasCS: I believe an hour long.

2:42

EDouglasCS: Marvel’s Agent M was just asked to shut off his computer too

2:42

EDouglasCS: Ha ha

2:42

EDouglasCS: Oh I see re: Level 7… I thought that refererred to the level of superheroes/villains they’d go after

2:42

Spencer Perry-SHH: I can’t imagine it’s going to be much longer, panel is supposed to end at 3

2:42

Comment From TV-Watcher

Do you think there’s going to be the same press issue as there was with Dollhouse and ‘things will pickup from episode 6’ – ‘the network want’s standalone and not continuing storylines? For comic fans you’ve got to be worried they might dumb it down to be more accessible for channel hoppers.

2:43

EDouglasCS: Probably more standalone I’d guess… that generally works better on television.

2:43

Spencer Perry-SHH: I’m sure there will be an arc for the season though

2:44

Spencer Perry-SHH: Blake is currently watching the pilot and should be back with us momentarily

2:44

EDouglasCS: Silas has just started live blogging Game of Thrones if you need something to do while waiting for Blake’s thoughts on the pilot

2:44

EDouglasCS: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=106651

2:45

EDouglasCS: I’m skipping that because I’ve barely seen Season 3

2:45

Comment From Nexus

LOLA is a SHIELD hover car!

2:45

Spencer Perry-SHH: She better be!

2:46

EDouglasCS: The pilot is over… hopefully Blake will be back with some thoughts before he runs over to Hall H

2:46

EDouglasCS: Blake?

2:48

Blake Wright: I’m back!

2:49

Blake Wright: Wow! That was excellent.

2:49

EDouglasCS: How was it!?!?

2:49

EDouglasCS: Let’s hear some spoilers… do we see any supervillains or heroes we might know? 🙂

2:49

Comment From Fanamir

So, what’s the scoop on Michael Peterson (J. August Richard’s character)?

2:49

Blake Wright: Pitch perfect Joss.

2:50

Blake Wright: @Fanamir…. He is a down and out single dad… with a secret.

2:52

Blake Wright: @Khan… Coulson’s death was faked. Pure and simple. No smoke and mirrors there… but there was a joke about how long he had to hold his breath.

2:52

Spencer Perry-SHH: Well that’s underwhelming….

2:53

Blake Wright: @Aerialgreen… Lola is a star.

2:53

Blake Wright: @Fanamir… Yes, there is something going on there. Just remember… Tahiti.

2:54

ComingSoon.net: Alright guys, Blake’s gotta get going. Let’s wrap this up.

2:54

EDouglasCS: So it does take place after Avengers though, not as a prequel?

2:54

EDouglasCS: what about any superheroes/villains? Do we see them facing any?

2:54

Blake Wright: After Avengers, yes.

2:54

Comment From GB

Any Marvel characters show up other than Hill?

2:55

Blake Wright: Pilot had no other heroes or villains in the flesh, but some big time name dropping.

2:55

Blake Wright: @Nexus… Tahiti is the key.

2:56

Blake Wright: I’m outta here! Thanks guys… Tune in Sept. 24!
