NBC Enlists Adam Pally and Abby Elliott for Comedy Series Uninsured

Adam Pally (Happy Endings) and Abby Elliott (SNL) are set to headline NBC’s multi-camera comedy Uninsured from The Goldbergs writer/co-executive producer Dan Levy, according to Deadline. Pally will also serve as co-executive producer, which also stars Jessy Hodges (Barry) and Amer Padha-Chatel (Beecham House).

Doug Robinson will produce the pilot for Sony Pictures, which focuses on Dave (Pally) and Rebecca (Elliott), young parents who must suddenly take care of the former’s parents when they run into money issues. Hodges and Chadha-Patel will play supporting characters, namely Dave’s edgy sister, and business partner, respectively.

Per the report, Dave is described as “a natural hype man with a good heart,” while Rebecca is “a supermom” who tries to keep her chaotic household in order. Pally and Elliott previously played a couple on ABC’s Happy Endings.
