Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 6 Recap
In the previous episode of Cartoon Network’s Rick and Morty, Morty messed with a planet of space snakes. In Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 6, the show returned with a train where everyone on it was obsessed with Rick Sanchez.
As various characters on a train told their Rick Sanchez stories on the anthology train, a ticket taker passed through. Rick and Morty disguised themselves as passengers on the train. Though some on the train appreciated Rick, others wanted to kill him. It turned out the Ticket Taker was ripped and fought Rick and Morty. However, he was torn in half as he went through a window of the train.
In the universe outside of the train, the Ticket Taker was a man at an arcade. He spontaneously tore in half and circled the arcade with his blood raining down. Fortunately, Rick and Morty had made suits to protect themselves outside of the train. Morty insisted that Rick put him down.
Unfortunately, time ran out on Morty’s suit. Rick shared his oxygen instructed Morty to tell a story that would pass the Bechdel test. They arrived at the control room where Story Lord confronted them. He too was ripped. Story Lord strapped Rick and Morty to the wall. He’d brought them onto the train to fuel his anthology with limitless potential to help him break the fifth wall.
Rick and Morty broke out of it when they started praying to Jesus Christ. Jesus, also ripped, came down from heaven and saved them. The story became useless and unmarketable for Story Lord, freeing Rick and Morty. However, everything in the control room was fake.
Morty had purchased a gift for Rick at the Council of Ricks gift shop. Rick praised Morty for his capitalism since no one had been buying because of the virus.
