The Right Thing

After seeing a lawyer friend of hers, Emily went to Kirkman with the audio files from Lorraine’s computer. She didn’t explain where she got them from, on the advice of counsel. From them, it was clear that Moss didn’t know about the plot. However, he didn’t come forward with the information on the day before Election Day. Instead, the messaging stayed on course. Emily was clearly disappointed in the president as she had wrongfully assumed that Kirkman would have done the right thing, damned the cost.

On Election Day, it was clear that Kirkman would win. Lorraine had been suspicious that Emily knew and pressed Dontae for information. That night, Lorraine had Myles slip into campaign headquarters to remove all traces of Pegasus on her computer. The FBI caught him and arrested Lorraine at the victory party.
