Mac was sulking alone in his apartment, Frank then barged in and told Mac that he had been put in charge of putting together the Paddy’s Pub Gay Pride Parade float. Mac refused to help with the float as he was feeling ostracized from the gang due to his sexual orientation. Frank took Mac to go and find his pride, and he decided that Mac needed to go to a local gay bar and meet some guys. Frank had accidentally taken Mac to a BDSM/leather club and Mac pointed out that this was a very small part of the gay community. One of the club patrons had Frank and Mac leave the club as they were not dressed for the occasion. Next, Frank took Mac to a drag show.

Frank continued to express his concerns over being hit on by any of the guys in any of the clubs. Mac then revealed that he had yet to come out to his father and Frank thought that that might be the problem. Mac tried to explain to Frank his experience as a closeted gay man. Frank obviously did not understand in the even slightest way, but he took Mac to see his father in prison. Mac decided to come out to his father, but he got lost in a very tortured metaphor that resulted in his father thinking he had gotten a girl pregnant.
