New Scooby-Doo Lost Mysteries Include The Burning, Fright Night, Sleepaway Camp…

Illustrator Travis Falligant has spent the good part of the month putting a smile on our faces with his “Scooby-Doo Lost Mysteries” series. They’re animation cell-like depictions of the Scooby gang meeting modern horror characters and he’s made close to 20 now.
Overnight, he uploaded a batch inspired by Tom Holland’s Fright Night and, recently, he’s illustrated the gang’s encounters with Angela from Sleepyaway Camp, Cropsy from The Burning and Giger’s Alien.

Sleepaway Camp Next Horror Title to Get Rebooted, Original Film Gets Scream Factory…

Friend of horror, Jeff Katz, has optioned the rights to the Sleepaway Camp series, writes Deadline.

What does he intend to do with it?  Reboot it, of course.  He will produce a new film with the original’s writer-director Robert Hiltzik, producer Michele Tatosian and actress Felissa Rose.

Katz used to be an exec over at New Line.

During his term there, he oversaw production on Freddy vs. Jason and Snakes on a Plane.  Later, Katz received story credit for the “Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash” comic book.
