Odd Thomas Got an Early Release in the U.S.

?Odd Thomas – the adaptation of the Dean Koontz novel starring Anton Yelchin – is experiencing an unconventional release strategy, especially for a film by a director who is accustomed to massive theatrical debuts.

Stephen Sommers (Van Helsing, G.I. Joe) directed the supernatural thriller which has been released in various international territories already. Image Entertainment picked it up for an undetermined U.S. release, however, DirectTV customers can now order it up and see it before us.

Image Entertainment announced today that they have acquired all U.S. rights to the thriller Odd Thomas, based on the novel by Dean Koontz. Odd Thomas is the first in a series of seven books, six of which have already been released and have sold a total of over 20 million copies worldwide.
