Fox must be making a killing (no pun intended) on its line of direct-to-DVD/Blu-ray sequels for Wrong Turn and Joy Ride.
It’s the only reason I can see them pushing forward with both franchises. While we await for the inevitable word that Wrong Turn 6 is in the works, Fox reps inform us today that Joy Ride 3 begins shooting September 3rd.
The last installment in the series – Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead – arrived in 2008. Before that, let’s not forget, the decent 2001 film Joy Ride with Paul Walker and Steve Zahn.
