Rooster Teeth invites you to hear the star-studded voice cast of gen:LOCK for the first time in a clip from the upcoming anime-inspired series’ second episode. In this clip, the newest gen:LOCK recruits arrive at the Vanguard military base, known as The Anvil. While they’re ready to settle in, Doctor Weller explains there are a few more tests to endure before they’re fully accepted into the program. Check out the clip in the post below!
gen:LOCK takes place on our planet as we fight on the losing side of a global war. To turn the tide, Earth’s last free society recruits a diverse team of young pilots to control the next-generation of mecha—giant, weaponized robot bodies. These daring recruits will find, however, that their newfound abilities come at no small cost.
The series impressive voice cast includes Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), David Tennant (Jessica Jones), Kōichi Yamadera (Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust), Golshifteh Farahani (Paterson), Asia Kate Dillon (Billions) and Blaine Gibson (Lazer Team). All of whom can be heard in the clip below.
Rooster Teeth is a media and entertainment company behind some of the biggest online series in history, including Red vs. Blue, RWBY, and Immersion, a reality format that brings video game theory to the real world. The company was founded in 2003, and is a subsidiary of AT&T’s Otter Media.
