After over a year of production, Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming adaptation of the English musical Been So Long starring Michaela Coel (Black Mirror), which can be viewed in the player below!

Been So Long is a neon soaked, modern day romance set on the streets of London’s Camden Town. We follow Simone (Coel), a dedicated single mother who, on a rare night on the town is charmed by a handsome yet troubled stranger, Raymond (Arinze Kene); igniting old and new feelings. Set against the backdrop of an ever-changing city, Been So Long is a musical with a fresh take on love, life and moving on.
Based on the musical of the same name from Arthur Darville (Legends of Tomorrow), the film will is directed by Tinge Krishnan (Dimensions) and written for the screen by Che Walker (The Bill), and also stars Arinzé Kine (Crazyhead), George MacKay (11.22.63), Joe Dempsie (Game of Thrones) and Luke Norris (Poldark).
Been So Long will hit Netflix on Oct. 26.
