Check out the land of the dead in a new Coco TV spot from Disney•Pixar

Earlier today, Disney•Pixar released a new clip and featurette for their upcoming film Coco. Now we’ve got a new Coco TV spot with all new footage. In the video, which is entitled “Every Pixar World,” we get a chance to see what it’s like in the land of the dead where the young Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) goes on a adventure. Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

The voice cast also includes Renée Victor, Ana Ofelia Murguía, Jaime Camil, Sofía Espinosa, Luis Valdez, Lombardo Boyar, Edward James Olmos, Alanna Ubach, Selene Luna, Alfonso Arau, Herbert Siguenza, Octavio Solis, Gabriel Iglesias, Cheech Marin, and Blanca Araceli.

Directed by Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3), co-directed by Adrian Molina (story artist Monsters University) and produced by Darla K. Anderson (Toy Story 3), Disney•Pixar’s Coco will be released on November 22, 2017.

Coco features an original score from Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino (UpRogue One) and additional songs co-written by Germaine Franco (DopeShovel Buddies) and Molina. Also part of the team is musical consultant Camilo Lara of the music project Mexican Institute of Sound.
