Blade Runner 2049 Interviews with Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling and More!

Blade Runner 2049 will hit theaters on October 6 and we got a chance to chat with director Denis Villeneuve and the cast of the film, including Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Dave Bautista, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks and Mackenzie Davis. They give us a spoiler-free look at making the film and what it means to be human. Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

The film also stars Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, with Dave Bautista, Edward James Olmos and Jared Leto.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve from a screenplay by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, Blade Runner 2049 is based on characters from Philip K. Dick’s novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” The film produced by Andrew A. Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Bud Yorkin, and Cynthia Yorkin, and executive produced by Ridley Scott, Tim Gamble, Frank Giustra, Yale Badick, Val Hill, and Bill Carraro.
