Check Out This Belly-Busting Antibirth Trailer!

IFC Midnight releases new trailer for fertile festival fave Antibirth

Appropriately, writer/director Danny Perez’s acclaimed new punk horror comedy Antibirth will be released on Labor Day (September 2nd).

Because that’s just what star Natasha Lyonne will be going through in the film.

Like, serious, serious, labor.

Labor that stretches more than just the imagination!

Following its roll-out at Fantasia, Antibirth looks like a totally twisted, deeply weird and wildly eccentric amalgam of Rosemary’s Baby and Liquid Sky with a primarily female cast that includes the amazing Chloe Sevigny (#Horror) and the brilliant Meg Tilley (Psycho 2).

Here’s the synopsis:

Hard-drinking, pill-popping, bong-ripping Lou (Lyonne) and her best friend Sadie (Chloë Sevigny) spend their days adrift in a druggy haze. But one wild night out becomes a bad trip that never ends when Lou wakes up with symptoms of an unexplained, highly abnormal pregnancy. Who—or what—is growing inside her? As her due date approaches with alarming swiftness, the fear, paranoia, and conspiracy theories begin to pile up. Spiked with blasts of hallucinatory color, surreal shocks, and subversive comedy, the audacious feature debut from Danny Perez is a no-holds-barred descent into delirium.

We’re all about descents into delirium.

The film will be available in select theaters, on VOD, and via digital platforms from IFC Midnight.

Now, buckle in for that trailer…
