Meet Sam Elliot’s Butch the T. Rex in two new The Good Dinosaur clips!
Hitting theaters November 25 is Disney•Pixar‘s latest animated feature, director Peter Sohn’s The Good Dinosaur. The studio has today released two new The Good Dinosaur clips that you can check out in the players below. Both of them feature Butch, the T. Rex character voiced by the legendary Sam Elliot (“Justified,” The Big Lebowski). You can learn more about Butch and the rest of The Good Dinosaur characters right here.
The Good Dinosaur, produced by Denise Ream, asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa; “The Night Shift,” “Rizzoli & Isles”) makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.
The film’s voice cast will also include Jeffrey Wright (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay), Steve Zahn (“Treme,” Saving Silverman), AJ Buckley (“Murder in the First,” “Justified”), Anna Paquin (“True Blood,” “X-Men”). Frances McDormand (“Olive Kitteridge,” Fargo), Marcus Scribner (“black•ish”), and Jack Bright (Monsters University).
