Yesterday saw the release of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, today comes a brand new trailer for the fifth film in the Mission: Impossible franchise featuring, once again, Tom Cruise in the lead role as Ethan Hunt.
The film begins as the IMF has been disbanded, leaving Ethan and his team out in the cold just as a network of highly skilled special agents, dubbed the Syndicate, set their sights on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who may or may not be a member of this rogue nation, as the group faces its most impossible mission yet.
Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher) directs and along with Cruise and Ferguson, the film co-stars Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Alec Baldwin, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris and Simon McBurney.
