Watch: Trailer for ‘Adult Beginners’, Starring Nick Kroll and Rose Byrne

I think Nick Kroll is a very funny guy. Whether it be television, film, podcast, or whatever, they man makes me laugh. So, I am very interested to see how he fairs in a slightly more dramatic role, which is what we will get with Adult Beginners. Thankfully, I will not have to wait that long, as it is showing at SXSW. According to my schedule, I will be seeing it on Tuesday the 17th. For those of you who don’t get to see it as soon, you can check out the new trailer for the film below.

That said, you won’t have to wait too long to see it. Adult Beginners hits theaters and VOD on April 24th. The word out of Sundance wasn’t overwhelmingly positive, but it wasn’t hateful either. Kroll alongside Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, Joel McHale, and Jane Krakowski, makes up a talented cast and with the story coming from Kroll himself makes me very interested.

Again, you can take a look at the trailer below.

A young, hipster entrepreneur (Nick Kroll) crashes and burns on the eve of his company’s big launch. With his entire life in disarray, he leaves Manhattan to move in with his estranged pregnant sister (Rose Byrne), brother-in-law (Bobby Cannavale) and three year-old nephew in the suburbs — only to become their manny. Faced with real responsibility, he may finally have to grow up — but not without some bad behavior first.
