I’ve never been the biggest fan of The Beach Boys. Yes, they have some terrific songs, and the “Pet Sounds” album is rightfully regarded as one of the best, but they just have never been a group I have actively sought out to listen to. Brian Wilson, though, is a really fascinating guy, and he is given the biopic treatment in Love & Mercy, which stars Paul Dano and John Cusack as Wilson in the various stages of his life.
The film, which is slated to come out on June 5th, got a new teaser trailer you can all watch below. I will be seeing this in a few weeks during South by Southwest, so you can look forward to that review.
